I've had a minor re-arrange and a bit of a tidy up in the workshop today, so I thought it would be a perfect time to take some photos. The place looks bare at the moment though - there's not much work going on I'm afraid That'll change soon enough though

This first shot looks down from the back door. You can see my pillar drill snug under the end of the desk; it gets lifted up and bolted on when in use (though I wish it didn't - it's really heavy! ) Also note the nice big speakers mouted either side of the Dark Side poster

The stuff above the desk: Hifi, phone etc... The shelf with the radio tuner on is new, but during the move I managed to break my old HiFi amp Yet more cash out the wallet to replace!

The crap above the bench, other direction. In this shot you can see the kitchen cabinets which house (hide) most of my mess. I managed to get them from a friend who was replacing his kitchen gotta love free-bees!

from the front door, looking back. Yes yes i know the filter in the extractor needs cleaning You may also spy a forgotten attempt to make a violin on the wall near the door

My Record BS350 bandsaw (a startrite sister company) and the 1/4 ton baby, my pin router

A shot of the shelf I put up today to use some dead space. Perfect for molds and other such things (like the binding jig when i get round to making it )

The thicknesser and my storage rack/cupboard.

My linisher and the only bit of "normality" that managed to sneak in - the dryer.

Nice looking shop! I like the quality tools you have acquired also. Good tools make jobs a lot easier and a lot more precise too.

Thanks for sharing!

It kind of looks like Hesh's cleaning person paid a visit to Jammy's shop!   Here are a few pictures of my shop that needs a good cleaning!

I have since added a thickness sander that isn't shown in any of these pictures.  My shop is in the second floor of my barn.  My dust collector is in a room below my shop which makes it a lot quieter to use!
