Hi Everyone,

Here is a recording that Denis Turbide did on one of my guitars...a 000-13 fret HRW/Lutz Spruce. The recording was made on a Zoom H4 & Garageband, not the best sound, but hey it's fun anyway. I really just want you guys to hear Denis play this tune, it is an original piece that he wrote when his youngest son was born, I think it is really cool! You can hear more of his music on youtube.

Greg,

That's a lovely tune played very well and the guitar sounds really good. There's nothing nicer that hearing your "baby" making sweet music and inspiring people to play.

Here's a live link: Samuel 14

Woo hoo! Greg, that sounds great! And, Mr. Turbide is a gifted composer and player.

Thanks for sharing that!

Dennis

Greg, that is really nice.  The guitar sounds good all the way through.  Nice piece too.

As the engineer for this recording, I take offense to that. Ha ha! j/k. I can't speak to the artifacts in the MP3 compression (Denis did it at home) BUT it is an accurate reproduction of the sonic characteristics of your guitar.

Congrats on this piece of work, BTW.

Greg, sounds great. I'd love to listen to it on something better than my computer speakers. Any way to download the file or is it protected?

I was just listening to the clips of your blackwood guitar again recenty and man, that guitar sounds good too!

Hey guys, appreciate the kind words, Denis made her sing that's for sure.

Kent...not sure about the recording/protected question, I'll find out for you.

Dave....you are so right!

Cheers To All,
Greg
