I assume Brock and Lance don't want another thread like this, but I would love to know what the hold up is and which "early November" the new forum software is coming?

I'm not necessarily busting your chestnuts, rather just holding your feet to the fire here and reminding you that you guys said it would be early November (came and went about a month ago) and have also launched a new acoustic guitar forum (assuming that's the new software too) which may be taking away your time from the OLF to start it up.

I'm not wishing to stir up a hornets nest here people, just looking for some answers is all.

Thanks.

Rumor has it that it *could* be here by year end...but just hang in there. Good things are coming. I have it on good authority that it's also going to be very very fast loading too, so it will be worth the wait even if it's another month.

There's no need to hold anyone's feet to the fire since it's really in the hands of the designers, not in Lance and Brock's hands. You have to understand that Lance and Brock aren't writing the code themselves. It's being done by professionals, and sometimes things take longer than you hope or want. Such is life!

Patience is a virtue....

It is pretty much done.

We sized a server for it last week and they should be building it now. Once that is done, we will lock the OLF so there can be no more posts while we move, and they will port all of the databases over.

Things are happening.... I fully expect that we will have this accomplished by the end of the year.
