I remember seeing it when posted, but don't remember it's purpose? My guess is the removal of bridges or opening of glue seams, as in top or back removal from and acoustic guitar. |

Yep Bruce it's just a miniature electric iron that works well to get heat where we want it for repair situations. These irons are marketed to radio control model airplane builders to apply self stick mylar coverings over the fuselage and wings. |

They're also sold as tacking irons for use in dry mounting art prints and photographs. I love it when tools from other sinkholes for money can be used in new sinkholes. |
