I'm getting ready to do my MOP peghead logo in a lighter color BRW. I've always used CA glue and mathching wood dust to gap fill in the past with normal results of getting a darker filler than raw wood. Has anyone tried gap filling with the same color matched pore filler as was used on the body with better results than the CA method?

Welcome to the OLF, Jay.

You could use pore filler, but it the results would be less than ideal. It would shrink, which doesn't happen with CA.
