For those few who have used this , what material would you suggest using to remove the finish at the bridge and FB extension? TIA

Scribe. scrape and sand. I would never use a chemical remover because of creep, contamination and possible staining and may even weaken the top if it infiltrats the top.

JJ I turn a hook on a single edge razor blade. Makes a nice littl cabinet scraper. You can even grind away on both side to make it narrower. Works great.

Like the Zootmans said!! I use a box knife razor blade and a single edge shaving razor blade. the box knife razor blade is too stiff to bend, but I find it nice for getting right up aganst the scribe line and corners.
