A recent thread discussed some type of applique technique to get images on a guitar. Anyone have any inexperience or ideas on how to achieve this? |

Hi Don, I'm not sure how they do it but there's a Co. here in Las vegas that does this procedure. There are tons of trucks, buses and etc that have these imense photos graphics on the entire vehicles...advertisement!! I'm sure they can make them all sizes. Would you like me check on this for you?? Regards, Walter...Las vegas ![]() |

Don, I've been looking for the stuff that I saw being used on TV, but not knowing what the name of it is does not help. I did find This and it seems like it might be what you're looking for. Cheers, Paul |

Walter, thanks for the offer but I'm planning on working on a smaller scale. ![]() I think a standard printer page would cover the entire front. Paul, thanks for the link. I think I'll buy some of the material and see how it works. It will be a while before I get this project started, still designing and acquiring materials, but will let you folks know how it goes. Thanks again, Don |

Keith M was kind enough to find Mauro Liberatore's website, the maker of the "wicked" guitar. He was pretty tight lipped about the process. All he said was "go to StewMac they sell the materials, books, everything". I re-emailed him and explained further. If he returns my mail with some info I will SHARE IT! But no pics...sorry. |
