Ok, I know been this route before. I have had in past not much problem with the tucks of bracing, whether just inside kerf or all way through sides. I guess both ways ok and have done both, so just a personal way of doing it. What I do have problems with for most, is the angle of the upper and lower X braces. I am thinking of marking where it meets the kerf and then thinning for the tuck is what I am supposed to do and thought doing. On the last few though, it seems I am cutting to much of the kerf to get the braces to sit properly. Have a few kerfed and would like some input before chop up kerf Stan |

Stan, last week I posted some pics of my approach (principally for you!). So either you missed it or it wasn't useful to you (so I should just shut up about it). ![]() Here is the link |

Bob probably me, I have been back and forth so much and not in shop much, I probably missed it. I have home for sale and most of time when not at hospital, is fixing things so get best price. Thinking of moving to OKC. Anyway I will find it and print it so can get the X brace tucks down. May even be in John Mayes tapes, which haven't had time to look at yet. I am probably going to put all of the building up and store tools and machines in a week or so and until moved |

Stan, if you move to OKC let me know ok? I's like to meet you in person some time. I live just north of OKC, in Edmond. I'm in the city all the time though. |
