With the addition of our newest member, I am struck by the large number of builders in New Hampshire. I'm in Amherst. Who else on the OLF is from New Hampshire? |

Hi Mike. You know I'm from N.H. (I think). You played one of mine over at the Guitar gallery in Amhherst a while ago. I've talked with you a few time at NEL though I do spend too much time picking Alan Carruth's brain when I actually make a meeting. I know there are more of us. |

Yeah, I know you're from NH and I think Wade might be as well. Al Carruth is in Newport, NH. There is a guy in Wilton, David DuBois who builds. There might be a half dozen of us on the forum. I just thought a thread on the subject would get a better idea as to who and where they were. Yes, I did play the one at Guitar Gallery as well at the one Russ has. I think it might be your #2. |

My shops a mess, been re-sawing some cherry from logs for necks and back/ side sets but will manage to clean up. SOMEBODY HAS GOT TO MAKE A BETTER DUST COLLECTOR FOR BANDSAWS, HACK,COUGH,COUGH! |

whilst i've never seen him on forums such as this, a list of nh luthiers would be incomplete without mentioning walter lipton in orford. his euphonon luthiery supply branch is also an excellent resourse, especially for excellent quality strings at great prices, around $2.00 a set give or take the odd nickle or dime. i've also had some beautiful aged tops from him. an old fashioned business for sure (doesn't take cards, minimal web presence), but great to deal with just the same. |
