Hi, What a great forum!!! (the lurking ends now...)
I have a neck/endblock from an old 1933 0-17 mahogany-top Martin, and am looking for some plans to follow to build a body that's close to the original. The neck is a 14 fret-to-body, non-slotted head style, and I'm thinking the later model 00-type Martins may have the same body dimensions? The body that was with the neck is long gone. Does anyone know if plans are available for this type of guitar? Thanks, Buddy

Welcome to the forum Buddy!
There are all sorts of plans out there. stewmac.com has a lot of "martin-esque" plans. I don't think the body dimensions are critical to the neck/neckblock. You could build pretty much anything you want. The only thing that is a limiting factor is the scale length. Just make sure your bridge patch goes in the right place based on the scale of the neck. Other than that, the sky's the limit to what you might want to build.

Hi buddy    welcome,

I would contact John Hall at Blues Creek guitars. His link is on the page above. He has everthing you need to build a 0-18 body. I have been using his forms and molds and like them very much.

good luck with your guitar

Matt

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I talked with John Hall this morning and he's getting me fixed up with some top and brace patterns, a braz. rosewood bridge and other needed parts. He's very knowledgeable about Martins and supplied me with all the dimensions to get started on the project.
