The amount of glue remaining inside a joint will principally be a function of materials and clamping pressure, not the glue.
Many builders have suggested that they heard an improvement in their instruments after switching from an AR glue to hide glue. I noticed a similar improvement when I switched to the Lee Valley stuff. Did I imagine it? Perhaps. Was it an artifact of my building getting better? Perhaps. I would want no one to take my word on that without a little experimentation first.
Someone asked if the stuff was useful for instruments and I find it to be so based on my experience. That's different than speculating on how well something you've never used might or might not work. That's silly.
