Guys,

I have a neck block of Big Leaf Maple. Does anyone have any experience with using Big Leaf Maple for necks? Can you give me some suggestions on how to reinforce the neck? I was thinking of using two pieces of graphite on either side of the truss rod. Thoughts?

Ray

Can't go far wrong with a pair of carbon fibre rods flanking the truss rod, really. I do all my guitars like that, electric and acoustic, regardless of neck wood.
