Well finally got the surgery done on both knees. Pain was really bad first two days but is starting to get to be bearable. Hope this was worth it. Everyone who chimmed in so far has said it will be. So I am Hoping and Praying ALOT!

p.s. They gave me some photos of before and after...amazing stuff... so clear and precise...That scope would be great for guitar work!

Glad it went well Dave. How long will the recovery be? Do you have a good chair at your bench...or at least one of those cushioned floor mats (if you must stand)? That should help some.Steve Kinnaird38497.5967592593

Glad to hear things went well Dave. Just be sure you have given it enough time before you go back to standing at the bench.

Get well first, then make shavings

Dave,

Glad to hear you are recovering. No tackle football anytime soon, ok! But, sitting and French polishing, well that's another story!

Get well quick.

Jeff

Thanks everyone! I couldn't stand for more than 60 seconds before the surgery so anything over that will be a most welcome improvement...Yes...lots of F.P. Thanks for all your well wishes...you folks are great! I hope to see/meet many of you at the symposium.

Dave...what exactly did they do...cartilage removal, meniscus repair, ligament repair, etc???

The flexible arthroscopes are fantastic not only for looking inside of guitars and violins, but I'd bet also capable of doing some light repair work, or even fine-tuning braces. Check out http://www.endoscopysystems.com/ for used systems.

Now you can try out for an NFL team. You have the prerequisite.
