Here is a little of what I am up to these days ...just got a couple ready for finish:

000-12 fret, Mad Rose/Cedar Koa bindings Paua Purf

No offense to the women, but I call this one a "chick guitar" It is L-00 13 fretter, Bearclaw Englemann and Malsyan B/W, Coco bindings

This is the worm eaten neck (earlier post) that goes on a slope dread. I will be back working on that one after the symposium.

In about an hour I am on my way to UPS to ship this one. It is Redwood/Koa with Bloodwood appointments even the side fret markers dots and the bridge pin dots. (I had to get some use outta that lathe) This is a quassi-barritone, 26" scale with Medium strings tune a full step down (and alternate tunings too) It really growls. (Too bad I could wait to ship this one next week ...

Now this one I should be able to bring, but I buffed through on it. Bummer. If I got my act together, I might be able to glue a bridge on it later today ... that is if I get off the internet. I doubt I will finish it though.

I do have a 00-12 "shop" guitar that I can bring and a couple of Taks for Craig Lavin, (he really bangs on guitars!)

Ok breaks over!

Starting to get "pumped-up" to see some old buds and make some new friends

Gorgeous stuff John! You've been busy!
