For those of you using the buffing wheels; would you recomend the Menzerna coumpounds from Stew Mac, if so what grits? Thanks |

Yes, they work great, there a tad cheaper at Grizzly. Ill try to dig up the correct part numbers for ya. |

I use the Medium and then the fine to finish it off. The yave worked well for me. I believe there is one grit that is even finer. But I haven't tried it. Josh |

Here is what I just ordered from Grizzly and it seems like these prices are quite a bit cheaper than the other place. H0811 Menzerna Brown - Tripoli Prepolish Compound 14.95 H0813 Menzerna Yellow - Fine Polishing Compound 18.95 H0815 Menzerna Tan - Very Fine High-Gloss Compound 18.95 Grizzly Smeone here on the forum was just selling some of these compounds just yesterday |

I use the Stew-Mac compounds starting with med. then fine, and sometimes swirl remover to finish. I'm using a random-orbital sander with a buffing pad attached until I get my pedestal buffer. But I do get a surprisingly nice finish this way. ![]() |
