Man, I don't know John. Ya, it's good that there is going to be more Koa around, but I don't think we should start making coffee from it.

I read in the headlines this morning that Koa is making a comeback on the largest island in Hawaii. (I think that is Maui) Reasons range from intensive replanting to fencing out hogs and goats from the reforrestation areas. Hogs and goats eat koa seedlings and koa bark. There ya go, in 40 years the price of koa ought to drop. Reason enough to hang in there. |

Now John, If a man happens to be born with an eency-weency corpus callosum, I think you need to be sensitive and not embarrass him. Those of us afflicted with this debilitating disorder have hung our heads in shame, occasionally bumping into walls or trees, which of course is not helping our situation one bit. I have had it up to my drool cup with the prejudice against small corpus callosums er, I mean callosi, I think. I'll have you know that there are plenty of women that can be fully satisfied by a man with a tiny corpus callosum. (I'd love to name some names here, but OLF rules prohibit political banter.) It makes me so angry, that I want to run to the window, release the child-proof locks, cut through the bars, stick my head out and shout, "I'M NOT GOING TO THINK ANYMORE!" Dennis |

They ran that same article here. It was pretty good. The government is planting koa as are some of the ranchers and smaller land owners too. I wonder if when they start selling the stuff it will be called plantation wood much the same as what's happening w/ the EIR and "Cuban Mahogany". Either way though, it's good to see it will be around for a while. |

in my experience there isn't a fence that is economically feasible that will keep out feral hogs or goats. i wish them luck. dr winchester's little cupb pills work well, but may not be pc. |

So that's how you spell callosum. Mine has shriveled to the point where multitasking is just a memory. (a vague memory at that) I can't even type and spell at the same time. |

Your memory or your ability to multitask may be fading with time, but I have seen photos of your work, and see the evidence that your creativity is not in jeopardy of waning. I hope when my brain shrivels up, it works as well as yours! Oh yea, by the way, good news about the Koa.
