I just seen then LS Coco Om out the door. The FedEx lady picked it up and tomorrow it will be in the hands of its true owner.
Not quite as bad as seeing your kids out the door for the first day of school, but close!

Congrats Lance, I'm sure the new owner is going to be ecstatic when it arrives. Think of this as training for empty nest syndrome.

It's a good feeling, yet a hard one. We put so much of ourselves into the guitars we make, that it is almost like giving a child away. Almost. But not quite. Cold hard cash takes the pain away pretty quickly.

Maybe the adoptive parent can send a picture of the two of them. Hope that makes it better, not worse

Matt, after Steve Couch has played that Resophonic you made him for a few folks, I think you'll have as many clients as you need. At ASIA I raced over to your table everytime I saw him pick it up. I enjoyed everything he played, but your Resophonic was special. And besides sounding great, it looked great as well.

Lance, I think that means you just need something to replace it. A greater loss for a craftsman is when you stop feeling an emotional attachment to your product. That's when you've lost something that is irreplaceable.

Lance,

That is a beautiful guitar, and I can understand your attachment. The new owner is going to be one happy person, and that should make you feel mighty good!

Lance, the new owner will be as happy as you are sad.

You will feel better when you start "raising your next child".

OH, you mean we are supposed to SELL these things.
I just keep buying more gig bags and hang them in the closet.
Although, I did get a few folks at work interested in a Mandolele.

Congrads Lance!

Wade
