Must get $450. You pay actual Shipping. Paid over $1000.00 only 2 years ago.In Good shape, Low hrs. needs some cleaning and lubricating. Comes with Delta Extension Sanding Drum and extra sanding belts. Here are some pics:

Dave,

Couldn't you just build the crate yourself out of some leftover 12" Braz RW planks and line the inside with Addie billets?

I might even consider a second Delta sander if it would come in that kinda crate.

haha... nice dave.

And usually you can take stuff to a freight company and they will charge
like $50-$75 to crate it up.... you'd be using a freight co. anyway. You
might call around and see.

Gee you read my mind! That's exactly what I was going to do! I also thought I would throw in some of this old gold bullion I have laying around to sort of stabilize the thing and keep it up right!

Hey Dave,

If you're really going to crate it with Brazilian RW, and put that there Gold Bullion in for stability, I'll double what John was going to pay you for it! Just make sure the planks are nice and wide, and use as few nails as possible.

There was a story in fine woodworking mag one time about a guy who went to Brazil and bought wood. He couldn't ship it home, so he bought a sofa and made the wood into a crate for the sofa. Shipped it home. When he went to the docs to pick up his crate, his sofa had been uncrated and someone took the wood. Not much you can do about that.

I can relate...my wife's car is on its last legs...that's all I need, another auto loan and higher insurance costs...

I checked back with a shipper I found locally and he wanted almost more, than the machine cost, to ship it. WHAT A CROOK! So shipping is definitely a problem for whom ever might consider buying it. Although I must admit I let the wife/secretary do the research sooooo I might have to look into it myself if some one really wants it. She tries hard, but works only as well as she is paid...

You might want to check with a moving company about shipping it. They'll just treat it like another piece of furniture, and will probably cost less, especially if there's no hurry.

I know a guy that ships motorcycle frames and such all the time. He uses Greyhound. Yep thats right they tuck it under a bus and away it goes.. Pretty cheap too I hear.

I'd love to buy it but just the wrong time for me. I just filled up the shop with wood so the bank is a bit dry.
