I think you need to remove that space at the end. urls don't like spaces.

Interesting thing happens here that I really don't understand. When I delete the space it is automatically added back when I hit post. That is bizarre...

If you copy and paste into the address window, then delete the space, it works. That is truly wierd! Jerry Hossom38532.4069097222

Beautiful guitar. Love the binding choice and the rosette is gorgeous. Lots of zoot! Your scalloped bridge is very interesting. Is it as solid as a straight bridge, is there a chance of one of the string ramps breaking?

I really like it. Can't wait to see pictures of the other ones.

If there are supposed to be spaces, "%20" will be substituted for each space. But, I think the spaces are typos. Let's try this:

Thanks for helping get the pictures posted. Sorry about the confusion (although that's my normal state).

Jeff: I have dozens of these saddles and nuts in play and not a hint of failure. Knocking on my head...

This guitar has seeen the spray booth FOUR times and it's sister guitar is back in the booth for #5! I have had an enormous amount of difficulty with these two guitars but the outcome was worth it PLUS I have learned a great deal of patience in the process. In my earlier years these would have been a pile of splinters by now.

Tim, it's stunning! I love all the detail you put into it, binding/purfling, scalloped saddle/nut, soundport.

Is this your first with a soundport? Do you hear a measurable difference with it? I've been meaning to do one but I seem to keep getting them done before I remember to do it.

Again, great looking guitar!

Wow Tim, I am jealous. You've got 6 guitars all strung up for the show, I have 2 that still need some tweeking and several more that are still in finish mode. I'm starting to sweat getting them done.

I have been experimenting with souund ports for about a year now and have finally settled upon a shape and size that works well for my guitars & models. The port makes a discernable differnece from the projection of the soundhole but also in a 360* radius of the instrument. However, the biggest benefit is to the player. It's like having your very own mini monitor aimed at your face.

Ports cut close(r) to the heel tend to produce more bass while ports in the waist area are more balanced but lean slightly towards the mids and trebble ranges.

I will be taking a Shag Bark Hickory guitar to HB with two ports in it and it has the best of both port placements. It's got some serious "bark" [parden the pun].

Great looking guitar Tim. I can't wait to see the rest of them. Nice the way your fingerboard extension goes with your headstock, not to mention a great wood/binding combo.

Talk with Bob C as he helped me out with two sets after I broke the first two sets. Bob used two heating blankets per side and I only used one blanket and 3 bulbs. After Bob bent them, I had to re-bend them as his forms were different than my molds. During the interim, I ordered two more heating blankets, took my lumps and now I am confident to try another set... Oops, did I say that after I said I would not use Bubinga again... Did I mention that I am a slow learner?
