Or know where to get them? LMI hass a 000 plan but it doesn't say 12 or 14. They also have a "small auditorium 12 fret" plan. Anyone seen it? And does it have a full size drawing of the plantilla. Thnx |

Hi, Stewmac has a good set of plans in their on line catalog. It's a 12 fret design and the plans are really detailed. Buy it..you will like it. $12.95 WalterK ![]() |

Is there a difference in body size/construction or something other than the scale. If not, obviously bridge placement and brace placement would be different but what else? anything? |

Oh ok. I saw that on Martin's site. I definatly want the 12 fret so I'm glad I went with "short scale". I was thinking 24.9" vs 25.4" scale. So John; Short scale please |

I am going to get with Lance about the plans. I have so many to draw up. Mine are off old Martin specs that I impose on the Antes plan. john |

I use the Martin spec sheet alot but over the years I discovered that Martin also has a wide spec on the actuall guitar. In the early days Prior to the new plant ( 1970 ) the specs were very wide. I have seen over a 1/4" difference. THe old patters were hand made and not to the accuracy of todays production practices. The thought then was if it was close that was good enough. Today with the production jigging and such the specs are much tighter. I love the older guitars as they are so individual. If you guys think this is a good idea let me know |

![]() John; Is this what we're talking about? If so close is fine with me. As long as it fits in the proper case and has this appearance. I mean, I'll end up tweaking the details anyway. Certainly if it's got the old Martin spec sheet and supervisors notes, that's a bonus. PLease keep us posted. |
