I was trying to think of something clever to say, but the only thing I could come up with was, WOW! Everything about that guitar works; even the wood in the neck is pretty special. And IMHO the rosette is exactly what it needed to be to work with the rest of it. Outstanding! |

Thanks guys, I was a little disappointed after stringing it up because it seemed a little tame. It opened up some after playing a while and then I realized that I put light gauge strings on the thing and it really needs a little more tension on this big stiff top so I'm going to pick up a couple sets of mediums today and give that a try. I'm gonna have to upgrade my camera also, just an old 2mp Canon and after seeing some of the stuff Lance shoots I think I need to do better. Some of the surface reflections in these pics give the idea that the finish is not too good but it actually came out pretty good. |

Hey John, It looks great, really cool. Some guitars were meant for mediums. I used to string all my guitars up with mediums to "break em in" but some are braced fairly lighlty so I don't always do that. I bet the guitar sounds great but will really come to life tonight. PS, I still have nuthin' strung-up for next month. (your ahead) I guess I better get back to work. |

Wow! That is an incredible use of fine zoot! Really John, everything on that guitar flows together flawlessly. You really made use of the wood to it's best advantage. Congrats on a fine instrument! ![]() |

John, great looking guitar. It's interesting to see how different two guitars, made primarily of the same wood, can look. I'll post pics when I get 'er strung up. I'll be interested to see how fast these fly "off the shelves" at Healdsburg. |

Thanks for all the kind words guys. John, I can't wait to see what your bringing and I hope your not right next to me. ![]() Paul, I don't know about flying off the shelf, there will be a lot of fine guitars there. Mine will be price fairly competitively I think so we'll see. Can't wait to see yours. I think I have gotten a sneek peek at it once on here. Micheal, I don't know what I was thinkin' buying this defective wood. And I still have two more sets. ![]() |

John, the guy who shot that last batch of picture for me paid 4500.00 bucks for his camera - and it came WITH OUT a lens! He had 5 of them too - and switched them out constantly! If anyone is interested in his services, shoot me an email and ill forward you his contact info . Lance |

Holy cow.... I like the use of the single black line separating all that insanity in the wood. And along the neck too--that looks quite nice. Don't put a "competitive" price on this one, John. |

I sure bet Bob C is smiling. Great use of the wood John. I can't wait to hear her sing. Did you have any problems bending the cutaway? |
