Does anyone have an interest in orphaned backs?
I have quite a few in many different woods:
birdseye,quilt and curly maple
lacewood
figured and plain bubinga
cocobolo
killer curly koa
pommele sapele
etc.
You could make 6 head veneers out of each one.

I also have a few bookmatched sets of backs with no sides:
brazilian rosewood-2 sets
pommelle sapele-1 set
purpleheart-2 sets

and more orphaned sides-sequence matched
cocobolo-quartersawn-sequence matched
lacewood
zebrawood
fig. bubinga-sequence matched
Thanks, BradBrad Goodman38549.5678125

Brock,
I have 2 Brazilian back sets:
The smaller one is only big enough for a parlor about a martin 1 size-it has a little spalted sap on the inside-should join out-$75.
The other is 8-1/4" at the lower bout.
It has a small v shaped piece of sound spalted sap at the top-I think it looks nice, but the pattern can be shifted to join it out and still make a 16" guitar.-$150.

Dave,
This is a really good deal.If it was a couple of pieces I would gladly throw in shipping but this is going to be a heavy package- at least $40. to FL.
So since I would really like to move it I will split the shipping with you. $170. and it's yours.

Umm, the Cardinal rule of haggling is to do it in private. Otherwise, the others who have previously placed orders will feel compelled to haggle, also.

Now, on the subject of my presently placed order, and the price quoted....
