Just about unfinished packing, but here are some photos of the new shop:

This is my new workbench I got off craig's list for $40, I'm using this one for setup and little things.

Long Shot...

This one I want to point out, I bought these lamps at Ikea, they where cheap so I have one on each side of the polisher so I can see what I'm doing... Works really really well...

I'm working on some new cabinets for more storage and things like my tormek, I should also have a new grizzly sander coming (hopefully this year) and I'm still not sure where I will put that, I tried to divide the shop into dusty and non dusty areas.

Cheers

Paul,

Looking good! How many sq ft do you have there? Looks like you converted the garage?

Craig's list is great!

Jeff

Russ if it was a heat seeking missile it would have exploded in this weather , it's 105 degrees outside and the shop is 85, that's a rocket that I lost a bet on with some good friend.

The story is that they where building and flying large scale rockets and kept coming over to my house for help in building them. We ended up with a bet that if they bought me a kit I could build and certify it in 3 days (2 to build and 1 to prep and fly). I figured it was a sucker bet, so the Kit showed up on thursday, I started friday and by saturday afternoon took two cans of krylon and painted on the finish, on sunday I built the motor, packed it up and would have won but I didn't pack the chute perfectly and it tangled a bit. I was able to fly it again and passed on the second try. Sooo it stays in my shop as a piece of my past, and to remind me to not get TOO cocky

Jeff, Don, it's like being stuck on a closet for years and then suddenly having room to move around, we looked for a house with a 3 car garage so I could have room to make a proper shop. Now that I have space I'm going for this guitar thing big time, hope it goes better than that dang rocket

Bob.... www.craigslist.com THE place to find anything (stay out of the personals though if your easily offended)....

Cheers

Thanks Paul

For the explaination, I hope things work out well in your new shop, I loved the pictures of your guitars, and have a sucessful show.

It has been pretty warm here the last week, but no where near the sort of temperatures you guys are having, we rarely have really hot weather, and even then 100 is exceptional, it was about 75-80 yesterday, so I escaped to the beach with the kids

Paul, your shop is perfect! The only thing missing is some new radius dishes!
