Does anyone know the layout of the Martin style 45 Pattern, I ahve a bag of pearl shapes, but not sure where they all go.

I believe if you look at Martins website they have the layout. Find the section that sells the suplies.

Which pattern? The D45 has a number of them
The hex
The snowflake
and the tree of life

The Snowflake, I think the pattern is called, it starts with a large snowflake on the first fret. Then has little ovals and diamonds and things RussellR38551.4719675926

Brad you are right it is on Martins site, but the picture is not quite big enough for me to make out.

1st fret--Large Snowflake
3rd fret--2 diamonds
5th fret--square / 4point snowflake / square
7th fret--2 diamonds
9th fret--square / concave diamond / square
12th fret--catseye / square / catseye
15th fret--large catseye
17th fret--smaller catseye

Here is the layout for the D45 snowflake

Find the boards center
    All the centered inlays will be off this line. All paired inlays are then space 7/16 off the edge of the board.
   The square and cats eye are off the center with the point of the cats eye touching the square.
   Remember that if you are doing a bound board to keep the 7/16 off the finished edge
