Michael...118* today!!!!!!!! People here (sinners), are getting really edgy with this HEAT. You can tell my the way they drive their cars. Forecast for the week...more of the same????????? You bet!! Walter

I'll never forget when I moved my family from SoCal to Texas some years back, we landed in Indio, CA at about 11pm. Decided to check into a Best Western there for the night. It was late August, and still fiercely hot, even at 11pm. So, I walk into the lobby, and say to the desk clerk, "Geez! Doesn't it cool off at night here?" He laughed, and said -- I swear to God -- "Welcome to Indio! Three feet from Hell!" Best, Michael |

You guys have a whole new tolerance for heat ;) it's been around 27 here on and off.. my apartment was soo uncomfortable I had to go get an AC unit.. Now it's like a freezer and I love it. |
