I'm just wondering if anybody has tried the new Grizzly cyclones? The Bill Pentz website doesn't give a very good review of them, however I'm wondering if the new version scores better. Any first hand knowledge would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to decide between the 2 or 3 hp model. I think the biggest strain on the unit will be a 25" drum sander. If it can handle that, everything else should be good. Any owners out there yet? Cheers! John |

I don't own one, but I was asking the very same question a little over a month ago. Where I netted out after several days of researching this, the Onieda, and Bill Pentz's site is I think that if you have the time to devote to it, going with the Clear Vue system looks like the best bang for your buck. |

Hi John, I don't know about the Grizzly, but I'm selling a Penn State one that is just too big for my shop now that I don't build furniture anymore  ...I have it set up with 8" PVC and it handles my Grizzly 24" sander, 3hp shaper, and 3hp table saw no problem...
