As I mentioned in another thread, I picked up some mahogany for my next guitar and am looking for suggestions on binding, soundboard, fretboard/bridge, and anything else you might want to throw out there.
I'll try to attach an image of the wood. I make no apologies for the picture being blurry or the naptha drying faster than I could shoot the shot in some places --- this is just to get you an idea of what the wood looks like.
The picture tricks your eyes a bit, as most of the directional lines you see are figure and not grain. There is one weak spot in the wood, and I'll have to put a brace there . . . . I suppose I'm rambling off topic. Sorry.
