I have had this set of wood around for an age.... Does anybody know what it might be? It is something I acquired when I first started building, and I wasn't smart enough to write down what it was. It is brown with yellow flecks when you inspect it closely -- with big open pores. It isn't Wenge, Walnut, or anything like that. I am not sure what it is. ![]() |

I would guess Brazilian Cherry. What does it tap like, bright? Is it fairly dense? |
