Is KTM-9 sensetive to reaction to rubber like Nitro? I have had issues with Kyser Capo's leaving marks in nitro finishes and was wondering if KTM-9 is impervious to capo rubber, stand rubber, hangers, etc...?

interesting... I wonder if it's the protector sleeve on the kapo. I've got a couple different types. I think that stuff is petroleum based too, and maybe outgasses for a while. My neighbor had a white Fender guitar that had a big black "smudge" on it. Turns out it was from the strap. It was outgassing, laying right on the guitar and migrated the black dye deep into the white paint. (This happened in the seventies, and I found the cause only a couple years ago)

I'd call Kyser. Let us know what you find out.
