Dave...Just the right size for him, with some room to grow. Great job! That photo is good enough for a convincing promotional flyer--"Another satisfied customer picks Rector..." |

He does look happy Dave. It should be fun to watch him grow, and his appreciation grow as well for what you've done for him! Steve |

Bruce, there are some more pics in another thread here. I didn't want to waste any more bandwidth so I didn't repost them. Russell, the scale length is 24". The guitar is a tracing of a plan that GAL sells for a salon guitar, but the inside is x-braced instead of the classical looking bracing they had. Now I'm gonna have to get that boy some lessons. ![]() |

Russell, I put xtra light strings on it and with the 24 inch scale I think even his baby sister (3 months) wouldn't have any trouble fretting it. The action is like butter. |

Dave, The greatest gift you can give someone is your love and time. Neither can be bought. That is a great thing you've done to give of your time and talents (Yourself). Not the mention the 'BEAUTIFUL GUITAR'...your grandson is a lucky boy. You will be blessed 10 fold ! |

Thanks for all your comments guys! I'm sure he will have a lot of fun with it. His mother has already told him how careful he has to be with it. I told her "just let him play it" . Don't want to make him scared of hurting it, we can fix it. It'll be a lot of fun watching him to see if he picks it up or not. |
