I want to use snakewood for a L-00 I am building for myself. I read here how difficult the wood can be to work with. Would I be able to use the new radius jig that has been recently given favorable reviews to radius the snake. fretboard? If not, how should I accomplish? Any tips for working with this wood?
Thanks guys,

Hi Bob,
Snakewood machines like most very hard woods.
I have sent it through the planer with no problems,so there's no reason I can see that the radius router jig wouldn't work perfectly on it.
The problem is not in working the wood ,but it's proclivaty to checking.
Brad
