Here is a newly (revisited) guitar, I started this one about 8 months ago as a pet project and set it to the back burner so I could focus on a few commissions. There out the door now so I've brought this one back to the front
Its going to be Cedar topped Honduran Mahogany L1.

Thanks for looking.

Lance, looking at your photos and wondering...do you tuck the bridge plate under the X bracing or just butt it ? I always loved working with Mahogany...it makes a nice light guitar with a lot of sound.

Cedar and Mahogany, a classic combination for the contemporary fingerpicker. Glad to see you've come over from the 'Dark side' of all that zoot. Nice to have you with us Lance.

Lance...I think you'll be pleasantly suprised with the results. I built one acoustic with Mahogany / Cedar combo and it was a great guitar. Wish I had some better pics of it. I only took one 35mm (before my digital days) and the resolution was very poor.

AHA! Masking tape! I didn't think glue squeezed out on you Lance... . I thought you played some sort of Vulcan mind trick on it so it stayed under the braces at all times! Nice work though...can't wait to see it all done and shiny!

Larry, the masking tape is to prevent scratchs as I shape and sand the braces.

I like it! Good clean work is always just fine to look at.

I have used cedar and mahog on two guitars and just loved the combination.

Lance, it's ok...I just can't wait for the day to come (if it ever does) when my assemblies are as neat and clean as yours!

Lance,
Very crapy, as usual.
Is the L-0 Gibsons version of the Martin 0?
