Well, sometimes life gets in the way!! I just cut up a bunch of very nice Lutz Spruce blocks that I should have cut up a couple of months ago but just couldn't get to. They end checked so I have trimmed these tops to 20 and 21 inches rather than my usual 22 inches. They are about 8.5 inches wide. I have about 80 sets. But I will also offer up my small guitar sets at the same time (so there is over 100 sets in total). The OM'ish guitar I am building right now will fit on a 20 inch top as long as it is full width (the guitar is 19.5 inches long). Anyway, the prices for 'AAA' are $30 per set or if buying 10 or more, $25 per set. I don't really know the mix in the lengths so it's first come first served for the 21 inch lengths. If you can use 8 inch widths and 20 inch lengths let me know and we will save the larger sets for those who need them. Thanks!! Shane |

Here are a couple of pictures of the top I am working on. This is the same wood I have on this special as well as this months special for 22 inch (fullsize) guitar top sets ('AAA' $35 each or $30 when you buy 10). ![]() This is the top. (WOW! that fills the ole screen! I guess you'll get an idea from that!) ![]() Here is a closer up picture around the rosette so you can see the grain better but the resolution is lower. Man!! Spruce is hard to photograph for me, especially this tight grained stuff. Anyway, I should mention that this offer is reserved for registered OLF members and is not advertised on my website. Thanks for supporting the OLF and the vendors who are here to see that you have access to fine woods for your custom instruments. Shane |

Shane, I build a shorter guitar, the body is just over 18" long, but it is almost 16" wide- it's the one shown in my avatar- so if you end up with any tops that are too short for anyone else I could probably use them. So set them aside as you find the "shorties" and we can talk about it! |
