Please be careful and stay safe, our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I checked a number of sites this morning and WOW what a pounder this one is, it's surreal when I was talking to a friend this morning who jogged this weekend, did some cycling and enjoyed our great weather here and you guys are evacuating, hiding and watching stupid reporters stand in the middle of the tempest to deliver their stories....

Please let us know if you need anything, I'll even try to send some CA weather your way...

I'll second that. I was in Hurricane Allison a few years ago. It was barely even a hurricane anymore and it still packed a whollup.
Stay safe. God Bless.

I'll third that!

Craig I hope that you are not getting a first hand look at those fish you love to inlay, first hand through your living room window!

Stay real safe!

Everyone, Craig Lavin, our resident inlay artist, lives in Sunrise Florida. Think positive for him and his neighbours!

Wow, Guys
We need to do some serious thinking and praying for those of you who indulge. I've spent the afternoon watching CNN and the Gulf Coast is really in a bad way. The devastation is unbelievable. Surely there are people on this forum who have been affected by this catastrophe. Lance, I know prayer is not PC but I can't help mentioning it here. I don't know anyone down there, but I'm hurting for them.

Ron

Yeah, one heck of a storm for sure! Being that New Orleans sits below sea level it is an especially difficult situation. One of my favorite cities.

We fared very well thanks guys.
The gulf coast obviously has not. It was only a Cat-1 when it went through here. They had a 4-5. The images are almost surreal.

Prayer might be fine, but money, water and food right now is better, and shelter and housing. Just my 2 cents.

Craig

I'm building a uke for a fellow in New Orleans. I
emailed him this morning to check on him. He lost
everything but his wife, two dogs and two ukes.

It really makes me appreciate how lucky I am sitting
in central Indiana.

Wow.

I'm sitting here looking through hundreds of pictures of the damage. It is hard to believe.

My prayers go out for all who have been hit.
