OK, I got the top from Matt today. Got the old top heated off and the notches touched up a bit. Will re-top it tonight or tomorrow and start on the binding in the next few days. Did we decide on a top purfling scheme. If so, what is it?

I think we decided to let Paul Woolson be solely responsible for the purfling scheme. I believe that was a unanymous decision bar one vote.

Ah
One thing Paul, and you, I am sure know this, but if you would leave the edge of the binding square where the neck fits the body I sure would appreciate it. Really, don't mean to insult your intelligence, just trying to touch all the bases.

John, I have two options. 1) try to read your mind and know where to stop the round-over as I'm not sure the exact width of the neck. or 2) leave it all square for you to roll it over. or I guess 3) I could roll it over on most of the body and leave a few inches for you to touch up if you need to. I think option 3 is the best bet. So I assume the body is coming to you after binding?

Update: butt strip is in and Channels are to be cut in the next few hours. I'm juggling the bracing of a 12 string and this guitar which is quite a juggle in my little space. I've worked on several at a time before but usually the same or at least similar operations. I put everything else on the back burner but this 12 string is really a pressing commission.
