Just got this walnut from Bob C and wanted to show it off. Also a couple of pictures of my 2nd guitar with it's 1st coat of epoxy sealer. (The glued up box) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If I duplicated some of them, hey I'm pretty old and I quickly forget things. Sorry for the out of focus stuff. If nothings out of focus, well like I said.... Also thought I had more, but can't remember where I put them. Hope you enjoy. Thanks Lance and I used the "Thumbnail" free shareware. |

The one that has the sealer on it, and is hanging from my patented "blue sky hook jig" is EIR with a bearclaw top. But the beautiful set you sold me is the completed sides just out of the mold and the glued up back. If you look through the sides, you'll see the top for it being glued up. Thanks again Bob. I see you've got another set of this beautiful Black Walnut up on e-bay. I'm tempted. |

Looks great Doug It looks like there is a hardwood wedge of some sort in the lower bout of the top. Is that right? Are you getting radical on us? I like it! John |

I have a Koa back strip on the back (pictured) and a Koa end graft, so in my very creative mind I said "Hmmm, why don't you just go with the flow of this Koa and follow through with it into the spruce. That would look very sophisticated, and also COVER UP THE STUPIDITY OF SANDING THROUGH THE TOP AND EXPOSING PART OF THE HEEL BLOCK. |
