I need a latin name for these wood. Can anyone tell me?? I bring that from my country overseas.

Got a common name for it? And what country overseas would that be? It's not a particularly unique/distinctive looking wood. Looks mahogany-esque to me, though.

That looks like Narra to me. If so it's Scientific name is Pterocarpus indicus and I think it grows near Malaysia and is a close relative of Padouk. What does it smell like when you sand it? Kind of like cinnamon and vanilla?
