About 3 weeks ago I got one of Luthier Suppliers Brace making jigs, I haven't had a chance to use it until today. All I can say is what once took me 2 or 3 hours took 30 minutes with this jig. Its well designed and works as advertised. I made 2 sets of back braces, thats 8 braces today, from rough stock to ready to glue down in around 30 minutes.

I'm not going to post a bunch of pics, as Tracy has them on his site, but I highly encourage anyone TIRED of manually sanding in the radius in the bottom of there braces to check this unit out.

Thanks Tracy!

Ditto Lance! I enjoy radiusing braces now, and I still have the fingernails on my right hand for actually playing now and then!

Thanks for the great review Lance! I'm glad it works great for you. I've had several others send me emails saying they love this jig. I think it is worth the money and then some! I donated one of these jigs to Robbie O'brien's school of guitar building, so they will be using it this semester for the first time. He says it will save hours of time. Good luck with it! Larry, you snuck in there after I posted. But thanks for your nice review too!

What I like most about it, is the fact that I no longer have to strain the legitimates in my hands holding those thin braces as I run them across the radius dishes, That SUCKS but thats how I did it, not no more!

When you got 25 guitar students needing to make braces this thing really saves some time!
