Just opened my "four pack" of Access Stage 5 cases today and I feel obligated to put in a shameless plug for them.

Heavy Duty brown exterior vinyl covering, all corners are nicely rounded, sticthed and radiused, cool vinyl welting that covers the obvious seam that other cases have (which usually snags on something and peels the Tolex covering up), 5 antique gold latches that are very positive feeling when latched, two strap loops, crushed velour 1" padded interior, double neck support, cool headstock support thingy, double density padding at the tail with a small cut out for an end pin, removeable pad at the heel area, and arched top.

This is a seriously nice case for the price folks and a rival for a Cedar Creek case at 1/2 the cost. Only draw back is you must purchase in lots of four and they only have two case styles at the moment.

I am ordering more tomorrow before they raise the prices and before you guys snatch them all up.

Going off of feeble memory, around ... well maybe you should call them since it's wholesale only pricing. I want to stay on their good side too

Last picture is of the same guitar inside of a Cedar Creek case. Notice the gap around the upper bout corner. The guitar is free to move around side to side in the Cedar Creek case whereas the same guitar in the above photo in the Access case is a nice snug fit. Granted this is a "standard" dred case from Cedar Creek and they will customize cases for more precise fit BUT the Access case is also a "standard" dred case and it's a much tighter fit.

Tim,
I can't find the dimensions of the Small Body Acoustic or the dread cases. Do you know what the inside dimensions are? BTW, these are really nice!

Tracy: I asked for dimensions of the smaller case and they were supposed to send them to me. There was some paper work in the box but I haven't looked at it yet. They said the smaller case will fit Classicals, OMs and OOOs.

Walter: Thank you sir...

Oh, I forgot to mention that these cases have a NICE leather handle too. I don't want to get into "My case is better than yours" but only to offer an alternative to the other "standard" cases within our community. Gotta go more cases...

I got one of the electric cases (took it to healdsburg) and compared it side
by side to the TKL equivalent (professional series) and the Access cases
was WAY better. Better padding. More rigid plywood, better trimmed
exterior, better handle..by far, better latches, better craftsmanship, AND,
after shipping costs, a better price!!!

Tim,
Thank You! Great info ... I need to look into these.
Does anyone know where I can find an "off the shelf" Parlor size case?

I just sent an inquiry to them as well. We'll see if I hear anything. I'm very happy with my Ameritage cases but it can't hurt to have a back-up plan.

I don't know if a group buy would help much. There is a 5% discount for orders above 500.00 and i'm not sure about larger orders. Shipping for mine from NC th NH was only 25 bucks or so..

I am waiting for the small body cases as they were backordered..

I just called to get prices and talked to Keith the regional sales Mgr. He said "Are you from that Luthier's forum on the net?" I said yes and he said that he was getting a lot of responses from us after Tim McKnight's buy.
I told him it was the best forum on the internet.
Lance: Possible sponsor?
He promised to send me a price list.
