Can anyone recommend a case for an archtop that costs less than the wood for the guitar? I'm just finishing a 17" archtop and can't seem to find a case for it that is less than $350-$400. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your advice,

Ray

go to www.finecases.com and you should be able to find one in the price
range you're looking. TKL, while certainly not the best, aren't all that bad
for the money and make them to fit just about anything. Ameritage is a
better case and you will likely find one in the low to mid $300 range that
would fit a 17" archtop. They have a model AME-30 for $342 that fits
your guitar.JavaScript:AddSmileyIcon('')

Ray--Tarheel Music has nice TKL cases for archtops. Give Rick McDuffie a call.

Ray,
Call TKL directly and tell them you are a builder.
There prices are reasonable.

Cedar Creek also makes a very nice for a reasonable price archtop case.
I believe Cedar Creek and TKL are both owned by Harptone?
