Hey guys -
Here is a nice sound clip sent to me by the new owner of the LS Redwood Indian E2 you all seen me build over the last 8 or so months - Its also the guitar seen in the most recent issue of GuitarMaker - in the symposium section. BobC was guarding it like a Pit Bull!
This is one minute of a 6 minute suite that John Creech has spent the better part of 2 years writing.
I think it displays both Johns ability and the tone of this guitar very well.

It is so great to HEAR this guitar!
John sure knows how to play it but it sounds like the guitar was built for someone to be able to play like that.
Point being, if it isn't easy to play, you can't play it easy.
I know that's why I keep building them.
Some day I'll make one easy to play.

nice balance and excellent sustain. You must feel a great sense of pride
to hear your blood, sweat, and tears played by an accomplished artist. I
guess that's what makes us keep on trying. maybe I'll make one some day

Thanks Craig - indeed it does feel good to hear it being played by a great guitarist! Thats is one thing that I really enjoy when doing any kind of show where we can display our guitars.
I showed my guitars two years in a row at the River Folk Festival here in Michigan, it was so much fun seeing the incredible amount of talented folks that just seem to come out of the woodwork when there are guitars to be played!
Its doubly nice to have one recorded!

WOW! My dream guitar sounds just like that. I love the bright high notes and the brassy lows. Very Very nice Lance. Bet you had a hard time giving that guitar up.

"Enclosed, please find a live recording of what I call the “Shenandoah Suite” (C 2005 J. Creech). No EQ legation was applied to this recording, made direct to a mini disc with an ARG C100 Microphone through the home PA."

Bob, I agree, I'm thrilled it went to such a great player - funny thing is, John and I spoke on the phone many many times over the duration of this build and never did I expect him to be a player of this caliber! Hes a VERY humble man and easy to talk to. I think this speaks volumes for the many talented guitar players out there that are among us, working in shops next to us, packing groceries at the supermarket etc! Ya just never know. The must unsuspecting person could be a lights out player!

Lance you just never know. I have a newphew thru marriage that I never new that he played guitar. We were at a family get together at the cottage a I was noodling on the Seagull I keep up there and he asked me if he could try it. Well he proceded to knock my socks of with Dylan, Dave Mathews and many more.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Lance what a beautiful sounding guitar. That sound is everything I would want in my own guitar someday! I literally got chills when I heard that beautiful sound and that great sounding piece! UNREAL!

Lance, that guitar has great clarity and seperation. That particular didn't exhibit the capabilityies on the Lows but what shimmering highs and mids. They sound as good as they look!!
