Any of you out there proficient in Photoshop? I want to try and drop the background from a photo or two and can't seem to get it going in Photoshop....

Larry, send them to me paul at woolsonsoundcraft dot com and I'll take a crack at them. I used to do that for a living when I had a real job. P

Larry,

You'd be crazy not to accept Paul's offer, because even with rather sophisticated graphics tools, it it still sometimes very difficult to "find" the edge of an object. Finding the edge seems straightforward until you see the photo blown way up, and realize that some of the pixels that are from the object to be saved look very similar to the pixels that you want to eliminate.

Any way, Paul knows, there are places where it is really easy to drop the background out, and places where it usually isn't easy. It takes an artistic eye to find the tough edges.

Dennis
