Myself and Luthier Brent McElroy have each donated a guitar to be raffled off in an attempt to raise releif money for these folks. The Raffle is being run by the Acoustic Player Magazine and below is the link to the information as well as pictures of the guitars being raffled. Each ticket is $20.00 and you can enter as many times as you like.
Please take a look and do what you can. Hey the odds are way better than winnig the lottery, huh.

John,
I donated yesterday. I'd be happy with either guitar, but I'm more happy about helping those in need. I got to play one of Brent's guitars at ASIA just before he sold it. It was a fantastic guitar and very easy to play. He is a great builder, and so are you John! I wish you would have had one with you so I could play. Thanks for your donation to APM.

John,

What a HUGE heart you have! I hope the raffles bring in tens of thousands of dollars for the Katrina survivors. Even though I will not be a recipient of the raffle funds, I still want to thank you for your selflessness. It really warms my heart. Of course, I tossed $20 into the hat, and hope thousands more do the same.

Dennis

One of the greatest woodworkers ever, once said: "If you love me, feed my sheep".
You're doing that! I'm heading over there now to do my part. Thanks for your dedication to a hurting and devastated community.BlueSpirit38615.5291666667

That's a terrific gesture of generosity John and Brent!

I bought my tickets...it's the only way I could ever afford a Johnny Cool special and help a bunch of people at the same time.
