Why a stereo jack? Isn't the signal from a guitar pickup mono? Neat idea though. I wonder if they'll come up with a way to use bone or wood in their pins. |

I remember way back when, Barcus Berry had a jack that was close to this one. It had a plastic shell, but a best-quality switchcraft jack. I suspect this one has the same switchcraft jack inside, they are the best. The problem is they don't last. The wieght and stress of a guitar cable flexing on that tiny jack in the plug causes it to fail in a very short time. They are using stereo jacks because the extra contact lets you use it to switch the internal battery on and off, by plugging in. |
