Yesterday my family and I attended our churches "Harvest Celebration”.
After food and fun, we ended up in a circle playing geetars for a few hours.
There was one of mine, A Blueridge, Taylor and an old Gibson Dreadnought.
Ill get my bias out of the way now and say I thought my Om sounded the very best

My thoughts on the other 3, the Taylor sounded good, nice and rich, but a little thin overall, it was a jumbo style body. The Blueridge sounded very good but was pretty quiet for a dread sized body, pluged in though, it was the clear winner over the others. The Gibson sounded full, nice and loud, but very blah, maybe it had dead strings? Not sure.

Anyways - those are my jam session impressions, NOT opinions.

Hey Lance, good on you! I have no problem believing a handmade guitar sounds better than production, especially one of yours. Did you all swap guitars and see how they sounded with other people playing them? How did the playability compare between the others? I'm assuming yours was #1, but how did the next 3 stack up? I've heard older Gibsons can be very hard to play.

Cheers!

John
