I just received some FABULOUS tonewood from our Bob C. yesterday. Superb highly figured Cocobolo, lovely extra-curly Eucalyptus bindings & a gorgeous Lutz Spruce top. I was so impressed I have to tell somebody who will understand.

This AAAA top's deep tap tone sustains for about a minute! Well, maybe not quite a minute. It's close & even grained & has beautiful cross-grain silking. Very stiff - both along & especially across the grain. I "stole" this top for $45 ... and got a 10% OLF discount to boot.

We're lucky to have great tonewood suppliers like Bob and our other great sponsers here on the OLF. For a mailorder purchase, where you can't personally inspect what you're buying, trust like this goes a long way.

Zootman Rules!

I can't take credit for this pic...I believe it was Michael P. who did this some time ago.

You blew it Mike. That was going to be my surprise outfit for the next ASIA symposium. Now I have to buy a new one.
