Well things in Maine now finished up. Moving to the Branson, MO. area. Once there going to get shop. First going to get it setup and stationed out like want and benches done, and make sure of temp and humidity control stuff. Get wood from my friend Bob C (hope I can be patient and not get ahead of myself) Have 6 projects start and one 1 I started before Pantheon apprenticeship to complete. One is going to be a donation for the 2006 Viet Nam welcome home thing in Branson this summer and one for my unit 3d Recon Assoc. 4 to Vets who came home from current op's. Should keep me busy again doing my own thing. Let me say the work with Dana and most of the others was of great benefit and now confident will be a better and faster builder. One of most important things learned is that the prep work on stuff is of great importance. I learned some jigs to do (now if feeble mind will remember them)Hey Mayes a jig video. Didn't do much on necks as they are NCC and just put them together which learned from friend who had that job and binding them. I did mostly bodies and assembly of them, but Dana is so exact and wanting everything perfect it was a learn to do it faster, but no mistakes (or very little and not seen without very close inspection, but as perfect as possible) Still alot to learn and hope to do seminars, the thing Lance and Brock working on and visit other folks. Will still research books, video's and whatever can. When can't learn any more, will just quit which I hope is many years down the line. Will post more maybe and have something to say which will be of help. Thanks to all of you the last couple of years for all the help, and thoughts and for the thoughts of last 6 months while endeavoring in Maine. This is a beautiful place and would love to stay, but dad passed away and mom and Ronda's mom need me somewhat close. Also got into this thing for a purpose and now this part is over and time to move on and do what I am supposed to do in building. Thanks all Stan |

Good luck on the move Stan. Glad you got the experience in Maine and that you were able to become an even better builder. The Ozarks are where I want to eventually retire (I'm still woring on the wife  ). Stay in touch and post lots of pictures as you put your shop together. Take care.
