I think the whole design of this guitar is pretty cool. He also built one from my african satinwood that looks awesome.

Great guitars Bob.   That satin wood seems to have a greenish tint to it. Is that actual color or is it an artifact of the lighting and photography.

John the wood is actually golden color with no green so I'm assuming it's something with the lighting. Ya know blue and yellow mix = green cast.

Sorry to be a party pooper , but I wouldn't build with a walnut crotch
back. All runout and reaction wood. If it hasn't got any cracks 10 years
from now, I'll eat a walnut.

Howard that was cut from a walnut board that was 5/4 x 10" x 84" l. Of course I don't know where on the tree the board was cut from but it didn't appear to be a crotch.
