Howdy,
I am wondering if any one here is using a duplicarver (for making Mandolins and Archtops). Does any one have recommendations or thoughts on any of the various brands (such as the Multicarver)??

Max, I`m using a home made duplicator built by a friend of mine now. I`m building a Benedetto style arch top. I had a duplicator at one time when I was teaching , however I was not very happy with it. I can`t remember the brand unfortunately. I wish I could send pics of this machine but I`m too dumb to post pics on the web site. It is very simple and works better than the factory made I had axcess to before. It is extremly rigid and heavy and will faithfully trace the three axis necessary to form a top.

If you have any pics maybe someone here could walk you through posting
them, because it sounds like you have a system that works well. I sure
would like to see it.
