Does anyone have experience with the Canadian cases that Elederly Instruments sells? I need three cases ( two OOOs and a D). Sixty five dollars for the less expensive one seems pretty good if they are decent cases, although fifty four bucks for shipping the three seems a bit steep. Has anyone tried these cases or know of a better deal?

              Thanks, Paul Harrell

I bought the arch top OM case a few months ago. I'd buy another. They don't have as many latches as the "good" cases do. The interior is not as padded and the lining is a fake "fur" as opposed to the crushed velour of the nicer cases. But for schlepping a guitar around town, they seem to be more than adequate. It is very similar to a case that I got with my Martin 000-16. I wouldn't use this case for a client's guitar though. The handle is padded vinyl, some of the staples are visible, etc. They look like budget cases.

I concur with Mike - I live 45 minutes from Elderlys and often buy those cases for my personal guitars, as well as the wretched rejects that no one will ever see . Good cases for the money, that is for sure.
